You can optionally verify with a selfie or ID. A human reviews it, the decision appears on your profile, and the evidence you submitted is permanently deleted immediately after the review.

Yes. You can hide your whole profile, appear only outside your own country, and choose a separate audience for every photo: eligible members, people you liked, matches, or verified members. Gold and Platinum never bypass that choice.

Everything you need to meet someone is free, including seeing your first admirer. Gold ($9 USD a month, or $79 USD a year) removes the daily limit on expressing interest and reveals every additional admirer. Platinum ($59 USD a month) adds the ability to write to a few people a month who have not matched you. Where paying a foreign company is not possible, you can earn Gold through a completed referral or receive it as a gift code.

Yes — creating an account, completing your profile, seeing your first admirer, matching and chatting are free and stay free. The paid tiers only add conveniences on top: Gold lifts the daily interest limit and reveals every additional admirer; Platinum lets you write to a small number of people a month who have not matched you.

Location and device data are stripped from every photo before storage, each photo is reviewed, and you choose its audience. Anyone outside that audience gets a generic locked placeholder — never a blurred copy of the real photo. Photos are never exposed to search engines or the open web.

Emails about other people always carry the same neutral subject and inbox preview; they never name anyone or say what happened. Like and message notes are capped at one a day per type. The optional new-member digest is off until you enable it and runs at most weekly. Every type can be switched off in Settings.

Profiles are never indexed by search engines and are visible only to signed-in members who match your filters. Beyond that you can hide your profile entirely with one switch, or hide yourself from everyone in your own country — useful when the people you least want to run into are the ones nearest to you.

No. A photo is encouraged because it changes how many replies you get, but it is never required, and plenty of members here have good reasons not to. You can complete your profile, match and talk without one.

Your live profile, photos, matches and messages are removed from the service, and your account cannot be reactivated — if you come back, you start fresh. The limited filing-time evidence already attached to a safety report is the exception: only moderators can access it while the report is open and for up to 90 days after a decision, after which its text and photo copies are purged.

Block them. They disappear from your Discover, your matches and your chats immediately, and any interest either of you expressed is deleted. You can also report them, which puts them in front of a human reviewer who can suspend the account. Neither action tells the other person anything.

Only a Platinum member, only once, and only if you have left that option on. They get a single opening message; until you reply they cannot send another, and it arrives in a separate requests area marked as not a match. One switch in Settings turns the whole channel off, and no plan overrides it.
