Delete your account
You can delete your account yourself at any time — in the app or on the website. There is no waiting period and no way to reactivate it afterwards.
How to delete it
- Sign in to Ashegham.
- Open Settings and scroll to the bottom.
- Choose Delete account. If you set a password, confirm with it; if you signed up with Google, we email you a one-time link to confirm.
What is removed
Your profile, photos, matches, conversations and account details are deleted from the service immediately.
What is kept
If someone filed a safety report about your account, the evidence attached to that report stays available to moderators while the report is open and for up to 90 days after a decision, then it is purged. Backups are kept for about two weeks and then deleted.
If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store
Switch off renewal in the store first — Ashegham cannot cancel a store subscription for you. Once renewal is off, deletion goes through.
Cannot sign in?
Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.
